McConaughey confirms he will star in Nolan’s “Interstellar”

April 4, 2013

Matthew McConaughey has revealed to The Star Tribune that he will indeed star in The Dark Knight trilogy director Christopher Nolan’s new sci-fi flick, Interstellar.

Apparently they reached out to the actor for confirmation, and he replied with a simple “I’m confirming” and left it at that. It’s understandable given the level of secrecy that usually surrounds Nolan’s movies, especially this one so far.

Interstellar has a release date of November 7th, 2014, and was originally written by Chris’ brother Jonah for Steven Spielberg (who was then attached to direct). Story details are also under wraps, but it is said to involve “time travel and alternate dimensions and sees a group of explorers travel through a wormhole.”

I personally look forward to a Christopher Nolan sic-fi flick in space.
