Alan Moore’s “League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen” TV Series

July 10, 2013

Fox has given a pilot commitment to a small screen adaptation of Alan Moore and Kevin O’Neill’s LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN.

There was a feature film adaptation in 2003 that starred Sean Connery, but it was heavily criticized.

Michael Green (Green Lantern, Smallville and Heroes) is set to write and executive produce, while The Matrix’s Erwin Stoff will also serve as producer.

Moore and O’Neill won’t be producers on the series. If only Alan Moore had some control over adaptations of his work, because then maybe he wouldn’t hate them so much.
