Delayed: No “Paranormal Activity” This Fall?

July 17, 2013

Paramount Pictures is strongly debating to push the release of PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 5, the latest installment in their profitable horror franchise, until next year, according to TheWrap.

The film is currently scheduled to open October 25th.

One of the individuals said Paramount has already decided to move the movie, while another cautioned that the studio was still debating the move. That individual said that the studio is now looking at the weekend of January 6th because The Devil Inside and Texas Chainsaw 3D did well in that slot earlier this year.

No word on why Paramount is considering a delay for Paranormal Activity 5. “They really like the director, but they are second guessing themselves”.
