“Fantastic Four” Reboot Moves Production To The South

July 25, 2013

The Wrap reports that Josh Trank and crew are bringing the FANTASTIC FOUR reboot to the southern states.

Fox decided to take advantage of a recent bill that has reduced Louisiana’s film production incentive program.

It seems Fantastic Four won’t be the only studio blockbuster to do so, as Jerry Bruckheimer is also bringing the fifth installment of the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise to the state too.

There have been no official Fantastic Four casting announcements yet, but Michael B. Jordan (Chronicle) is said to be in the running to play Johnny Storm/The Human Torch.

Shooting will begin in September, with a release date of March 6th, 2015.
