Composer John Williams Hired For New “Star Wars” Trilogy

In an interview at the Star Wars Celebration Europe 2013, producer Kathleen Kennedy confirmed that composer John Williams will return to score the J.J. Abrams directed Star Wars: Episode VII.

Check out the video below where the infamous composer discusses composing in general, the Star Wars films, and his excitement to work with J.J. Abrams.

In other great news, Kathleen Kennedy also promised a greater use of practical effects and real locations in the movie. This is great news because the awful CGI backgrounds really hurt the prequels for most people.
