Universal’s “Dracula” Casts His Son, Assassin, And Witch

Heat Vision reports that Samantha Barks, Thor Kristjansson, Charlie Cox (Boardwalk Empire), and Art Parkinson (Games of Thrones) have joined the cast of Universal’s DRACULA.

Luke Evans stars as Dracula in an origin story that sees a Transylvanian prince risk eternal damnation in order to save his wife and son from a Turkish horde.

Samantha Barks will play a beautiful young woman who turns into a savage witch known as “baba yaga” in Eastern European folk tales. Kristjansson will play Bright Eyes, who was a slave as a young boy and now a vicious assassin in the Ottoman Army. Parkinson will play Dracula’s son, named Ingeras.

The show is directed by Gary Shore and currently scheduled to start shooting this August in Belfast.

The movie hits theaters August 8th, 2014.
