Snyder Considering “Watchmen” Actor To Play New Batman?

August 7, 2013

The Hollywood Reporter‘s list of actors considered for the role of Batman in Zack Snyder’s upcoming sequel included Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin and Richard Armitage. Latino Review even mentioned Gerard Butler’s name.

However, another possible candidate has now emerged. Think McFly Think, reports that Watchmen‘s Matthew Goode isn’t the only star from that film to be considered for the role of The Dark Knight as Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Comedian) is said to be meeting with director Zack Snyder to discuss playing Batman.

At 47 years of age, he certainly fulfills the “older” Batman that the studio is looking for. I don’t think he’d be bad, but I think there’s better out there.
