New Computer Generated “Scooby-Doo” Feature Film?

August 27, 2013

Variety reports that Warner Bros. is developing an animated SCOOBY-DOO feature film. It isn’t mentioned in the article, but the movie will likely be computer animated instead of hand-drawn in the tradition of the original cartoon.

This is good news. Why? Remember those live-action Scooby-Doo movies that came out in 2002 and 2004? Yeah, let’s never speak of those again.

Charles Roven and Richard Suckle, who produced the critically panned yet financially successful 2002 feature, will return to produce the reboot.

Matt Lieberman will write the script.
