Aaron Paul, Ben Kingsley, Sigourney Weaver, And John Turturro In Talks To Join Ridley Scott’s “Exodus”

August 28, 2013

20th Century Fox and director/producer Ridley Scott are negotiating with four top-notch actors for EXODUS. The Biblical epic already has Christian Bale playing Moses and Joel Edgerton as Egyptian pharoah Ramses II.

Ben Kingsley is in talks to play a Hebrew scholar, John Turturro is set to play Seti (father of the Pharoah Ramses), Sigourney Weaver is set to play Ramses’ mother Tuya, and Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) is in negotiations to play Joshua, a Hebrew slave.

With these casting additions, Exodus would have a very good group of actors.

Moneyball co-writer Steven Zaillian (who won an Oscar for Schindler’s List), wrote the latest version of the script. The shoot is scheduled to begin in September.

Chernin Entertainment is producing with Scott Free Productions.
