Familiar Writer Hired For The “Fantastic Four” Reboot

October 2, 2013

Fox has hired Simon Kinberg (X-Men: First Class, X-Men: Days of Future Past) to once again tackle a comic book adaptation.

He’ll be working on the final draft of the FANTASTIC FOUR reboot. Previous writers included Jeremy Slater, Michael Green, Seth Grahame-Smith, and T.S. Nowlin. Usually when you have that many writers working on the same script, things aren’t going well.

According to THR, Kinberg “may be overhauling the script substantially.” He is also on board as a producer alongside Matthew Vaughan.

Josh Trank (Chronicle) is still attached to direct the reboot which hits theaters on March 6th, 2015.
