Trailer: Children To Battle Zombies In “Heart Land”

October 10, 2013

Here’s an interesting concept for a zombie flick. Center Mass Studios‘ HEART LAND is currently in pre-production and will be written/directed by Matthew A. Collins.

Synopsis: “Jonah, a sweet-faced boy of 11, must band together with the other children in his rural mid-Western town to survive a nightmarish zombie apocalypse. When his group of kids, led by 15-year-old Wendy, comes across another gang led my the malicious boy-soldier Pete, Jonah must be the one to decide who to trust, who to save, and who to kill…”

It kind of sounds like Lord of the Flies meets zombies. Check out the teaser trailer below, which has to be inspired by the nursery rhyme Jack and Jill.

Heart Land is produced by James Brooke, David Carson, and Miranda Sajdak.
