Marvel Preps A Miniseries & Four Dramas For VOD & Cable

October 15, 2013

Marvel is usually pretty secretive about their projects, but this is pretty spectacular. The studio is quietly putting together a package of four drama series and a miniseries which total 60 episodes. Hopeful candidates include VOD platforms, Netflix, Amazon, and WGN America.

No one is talking, with rumors that everyone from top to bottom is bound by strict nondisclosure agreements.

Feelers have been send out, and there’s already interest from digital platforms and traditional cable networks in the package, which is in very early stages with very little talent attached.

Marvel is also developing a potential TV series inspired by the Agent Carter One-Shot, which was a bonus feature on the Iron Man 3 Blu-ray. It’s unclear if that will be a part of the package.

Are you excited for more television series based on the Marvel Universe?
