October 31, 2013

Comedy Central recently renewed Daniel Tosh’s Brickleberry for a third season and two other comedy series will follow.

Key & Peele has been renewed for a fourth season while Drunk History has been renewed for a second season.

“We are covering several genres with these pickups: one sketch, one animation, and whatever Drunk History is,” said Comedy Central President of Original Programming Kent Alterman.

All of the series are expected to premiere in 2014.

Key & Peele is averaging 1.9 million viewers in its third season and is No.1 on cable in its time slot with men 18-34. The show also boasts more than 400 million streams across multiple digital platforms.

Drunk History premiered in July and averaged 1.2 million viewers over its first season. It was created by series host Derek Waters and director Jeremy Konner.
