“Jurassic World” Trading Josh Brolin For Chris Pratt?

Variety reports that Chris Pratt (Parks and Recreation, Zero Dark Thirty) is in early talks to star in Universal‘s JURASSIC WORLD. He will be taking on the role originally intended for Josh Brolin. You can also catch Chris Pratt as Star-Lord in James Gunn’s upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy.

Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson are also in talks to star.

Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) is directing and co-wrote the script with Derek Connolly. Filming is expected to begin early 2014.

Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley will produce Jurassic World, which hits theaters on June 12th, 2015.
