Twentieth Century Fox has moved the release date of the upcoming DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES to July 11th, 2014. That’s one full week earlier than its previous July 18th release date.

Synopsis: “A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.

The sequel is directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield) and stars Andy Serkis, Keri Russell, Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Judy Greer, and Jocko Sims.
