Multiple “The Woman In Black” Sequels In Development

December 26, 2013

Even though Tom Harper’s The Woman in Black: Angel Of Death hasn’t been released yet, Hammer CEO Simon Oakes tells Total Film that he has plans beyond a trilogy.

If your second’s successful, then your third, then you’ve got a franchise,” he tells the UK magazine. “I just don’t believe in the notion that you can press a button and create a franchise, but, I mean, I’m definitely planning 3 and 4…

Therefore, if the upcoming sequel to The Woman in Black is a success, expect multiple sequels to follow.

Synopsis: “Seized by the government and converted into a military mental hospital during World War II, the sudden arrival of disturbed soldiers to Eel Marsh Harsh has awoken its darkest inhabitant. Eve, a beautiful young nurse, is sent to the house to care for the patients but soon realizes she must save them from more than their own demons. Despite Eve’s efforts to stop her, one by one they fall victim to the Woman in Black.
