“Alien: Isolation” 8 Minutes Of Gameplay Footage; Go Behind The Scenes

January 8, 2014

Is this the ALIEN video game adaptation the fans have always wanted? Sega recently revealed the latest game based on Ridley Scott’s classic science fiction/horror film and it looks promising. Check out the trailer, a behind-the-scenes video and 8 minutes of gameplay footage.

Alien: Isolation is a first-person survival horror experience that “will focus on capturing the tension evoked by Ridley Scott’s 1979 classic film.” We’ll play the game as Ellen Ripley’s daughter, Amanda, as she investigates her mother’s disappearance. The game will take place 15 years after the events in the original Alien.

“Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.”  You won’t be shooting down wave after wave of aliens. Instead, this game features one xenomorph.

Sega is planning on delivering Alien: Isolation in late 2014 for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
