Anchor Bay To Distribute “Fear Clinic” Feature Film

January 21, 2014

THR reports that Anchor Bay Films has picked up all rights to FEAR CLINIC, a horror movie that was originally a web series on FEARnet. The deal includes theatrical, VOD, digital and home entertainment.

Special effects artist Robert Green Hall (Angel, Firefly, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) co-wrote and is directing the picture, which centers on a fear doctor (Robert Englund) who attempts to cure patients suffering from crippling phobias by placing them inside his exposure therapy invention, the Fear Chamber, where he induces and controls hallucinations.

Fiona Dourif (Curse of Chucky, The Master), Thomas Dekker (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, A Nightmare on Elm Street), Kevin Gage (Laid to Rest, Blow), Cleopatra Coleman (Step Up Revolution), Angelina Armani (ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2) and Corey Taylor of Slipknot are also in the cast.

A late 2014 release is planned for the movie, which is currently in production.
