“Bates Motel: After Hours” Will Be Similar To “Talking Dead”

Starring Vera Farmiga in her Emmy-nominated role as Norma Bates and Freddie Highmore as Norman, A&E‘s BATES MOTEL returns for a second season Monday, March 3rd at 9 PM ET/PT.

But wait, there’s more! Much like AMC does with “Talking Dead,” A&E will follow the episode up with “Bates Motel: After Hours,” which is described as “a live half-hour special event bringing the highly engaged “Bates Motel” community to life as fans interact with the show’s stars and creators sharing behind-the-scenes analysis and exclusive content.

Series stars Vera Farmiga (Norma Bates), Freddie Highmore (Norman Bates), Max Thieriot (Dylan Massett) and executive producers Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin will be on hand for the initial episode.

“Bates Motel: After Hours” will be broadcast in front of a live studio audience in New York on Monday, March 3rd at 11PM ET/PT following the season two premiere of “Bates Motel” at 9PM ET/PT.
