Fox‘s GOTHAM television series has finally cast the young versions of Bruce Wayne (Batman) and Selina Kyle (Catwoman).

TheWrap report that 14-year old actor David Mazouz (Touch) has been cast as the “serious and soulful” preteen Bruce Wayne in Gotham’s pilot. Meanwhile, newcomer Camren Bicondova has been cast as Selina Kyle, “a teenage orphan, street thief and skilled pickpocket who is suspicious and wholly unpredictable.” It seems Mazouz and Bicondova will be the final two series regulars.

Synopsis: “The origin story behind Commissioner James Gordon’s rise to prominence in Gotham City in the years before Batman’s arrival.”

The Mentalist creator Bruno Heller wrote the pilot, which Danny Cannon will direct. Fox is eyeing a fall premiere date.

Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as Jim Gordon, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, David Mazouz as young Bruce Wayne, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle, Robin Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot, Jada Pinkett Smith, Sara Paxton, Donal Logue, Erin Richards and Zabryna Guevara.
