“Arkham Knight” Batmobile Trailer; Release Date Delayed

June 4, 20140 Comments

Rocksteady Studios released a new trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight showing off some of the features of the playable batmobile. In some sad news, they also reveal that the release date has been pushed back from October, 2014 to sometime in 2015.

“We just want to make this the best experience that we can, and that takes time, We feel that we have an absolutely awesome game in the works, and we want to make it as great as it possibly can be. We just need more time to do that. If we didn’t give the team more time to do it, then we would be releasing something that we weren’t happy with. We want to make sure we’re absolutely nailing it 100 percent.”

It sucks. But if this is the final one, I’d like for them to take their time and give us the greatest Batman game EVER.

Synopsis: In the explosive finale to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever. Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady’s uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City. Be The Batman.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2015.
