Tim Burton’s “Batman” Turns 25 Yrs Old Today; Original Trailers

June 23, 20140 Comments

Today is the 25th anniversary of one of the greatest comic book movies of all-time. Tim Burton’s Batman hit theaters today (June 23rd) back in 1989 and is still considered by quite a few as the best adaptation. Burton’s Batman films definitely influenced my childhood, which is why I revisited some of the early trailers for the film. Let’s just say they’re interesting. Especially when compared to trailers today. Check it out below.

Synopsis: “The Dark Knight of Gotham City begins his war on crime with his first major enemy being the clownishly homicidal Joker.”

Batman was directed by Tim Burton and starred Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson, Kim Basinger, Billy Dee Williams, and Michael Gough.
